Was there a time when you juiced daily? Maybe you once did a juice cleanse and felt amazing!? But something has happened since then. You’ve gotten lazy, bored with juicing, maybe you’re not even sure it’s really worth the time to do it anymore? It takes so much time and effort to get out the juicer, clean the vegetables and fruits, and then clean the juicer after its done.
Every time you go to make yourself a juice you feel that tired feeling, and think maybe I’ll just do it tomorrow. Does this sound familiar? This list is for you!
#1. Get Your Love For Juicing Back:
Remember that initial feeling you felt when you first heard about what juice can do? Maybe you were looking to lose weight? Maybe you were wanting to clean your system and detox? Maybe you were just excited about increasing your energy because of all the nutrients inside of raw home made juice.
Well, you can get that wonder and excitement back. It’s actually not hard to do. Think of something health-wise you want to improve in your life and start looking up what vegetables and fruits are helpful in that area. As you add them to your list you can also begin to think of different juicing combinations to put together using them. If you need some ideas you can check out our juice cleanse recipes page, it contains loads of different juicing recipe ideas! We have loads of recipes categorized by vegetable and fruit type so you can get right to what you’re looking for.
#2. Add Spices and Other Ingredients To Your Juice Recipes:
While you’re researching ingredients to include in your juice recipes, you may find some of them are items other than vegetables and fruits. To be fair there are some things that just wont work in a juice(for example you can’t juice a fish or deyhydrated goji berries!), but there are many things that will work. You just have to be a little creative.
Maybe a certain spice, pepper or seed contains a health benefit you’re wanting more of? You can most definitely mix spices, herbs, and peppers into your juices!
Adding these items into your juice can really open up a whole new world of healing, nutrition, energy, and weight loss to you!
#3. Read Some Inspirational Juicing Articles:
Sometimes we just need a lift don’t we? Seriously, Liisa and myself have spent a lot of time researching all about juicing and juice cleansing and we still need to be inspired from time to time! You’d think we were juicing machines just rearing to go every single day with all of the articles we’ve written about juicing, but one thing we’ve learned is that we need to be motivated just like anyone else does!
Did you know that you can actually change your taste buds through juicing so that you begin to crave healthier foods? Yea, it’s true and I wrote a pretty detailed article all about it.
Sometimes you just need to be reminded that accepting where you’re at, relaxing, and setting new goals are the beginning to taking that first step back into a place of amazing health or healing! This article has got the lowdown for all of that!
It would be silly of me not to share with you my story of healing through juicing, diet, and lifestyle change. If you’re not a regular reader here you probably don’t know I once had a “chronic auto-immune disorder” called psoriatic arthritis (very similar to rheumatoid arthritis). You also probably don’t know that I healed it through juicing, diet, and lifestyle change? Yea, this stuff has been pretty powerful for me, and that’s a big part of the reason I’m so passionate about sharing it with others just like you.

#4. Keep Your Juices Simple Some Days:
You don’t have to include a load of different of ingredients in every single juice you make! Some days this is an awesome idea and you can have some fun seeing how much you can get into a single juice, but sometimes the thought of juicing a load of vegetables and fruits can sound really tiring! That’s ok, a lot of times the best juices are very simple ones. One of my favorite juices to make is a simple carrot-apple-celery-ginger juice. Sometimes I skip the apple and ginger and just throw some carrots and celery into the juicer. I love the taste and both carrots as well as celery contain plenty of health benefits.
#5. Try Something New Some Days:
Variety is the spice of life and while some days you may want to keep it simple, there are some days where mixing it up and trying something new can really inspire your creativity. This can be all you need to light the fire under your butt to get that juicer out and make some powerful delicious juice!
Have you ever juiced a watermelon? During the summer it’s a cost effective way of making loads of tasty thirst quenching juice. I usually juice the watermelon rind and all, because it’s rind contains health benefits. You don’t have to though, and that’s the beauty of juicing you can do whatever the heck you want!
If you like a simple carrot, apple, and ginger juice maybe you could try adding something else to it one day? You can start slow by adding say a leaf of swiss chard, or maybe a few leaves of basil? You never know what you’ll end up liking until you try!
#6. Keep A Clean Space For Your Juicing:
If your kitchen is always a mess of course you’re not going to want to go in there and make a juice! You’re going to want to go out and get something convenient. This is the fix many of us find ourselves in, and in fact we’ve found it so crucial to keeping up with our juicing that we wrote an entire article about it!
#7. Stop The Excuses:
Yep, you knew this would have to be included. You’ve probably been avoiding this one, and so many of us do! When you really dig into it and do some soul searching you’ll find that many times the reason you aren’t juicing, or doing any of a number of healthy things for yourself is because you have all of these silly excuses. They usually add up to simply being lazy, or you’ve fallen into a pattern of behavior and have been stuck there for some time. Well, here’s the truth! You just have to shake yourself out of the rut, get up and do something that you know is good for you!
Grab that juicer, shake off the tired, and tell yourself I’m going to start a new pattern right here and now! I’m going to start in this very moment! Today is the day I get off my butt and get back to juicing!
