Is the thought of taking the time to juice stopping you in your tracks to wellness? Have you done a juice cleanse and want a more time efficient way of doing it? Well, you don’t have to search anymore because I am about to give you some simple ideas for how to save you time and make the whole process a lot easier!
Here are 5 efficient tips to save time when doing a juice cleanse.
Tip #1 Keep your kitchen space clean!
It’s very important to keep your kitchen clean, because it will be a lot more work to leave it messy than clean it up after you juice every time. Plus, you don’t want insects to set up camp in your home. I wrote an article in more detail about keeping your kitchen clean which you can read if you follow this link.
Tip #2 Make your juice once a day, instead of every time you’re hungry.
Although we suggest that you make your juices as fresh as possible for the maximum nutrients, we know that life is real and can be quite hectic at times. If you make your juice once a day, this will help cut the time involved by a lot.
Think about it, you have to clean your produce, kitchen, and juicer every time you juice, compared to doing it once. Talk about time saver! We have an article about how to store your juice properly if you’re thinking about making your juice in advance. In fact, your juice can maintain most of its nutrients for three days if stored properly.
Tip #3 Make a juicing plan
Before you start your juicing journey it’s good to sit down and sort out some kind of game plan. This will help you get a better idea of what you’re doing so it’s not so loosey-goosey. Research is also very helpful. If you have a solid idea of how you’re going to go about it then it may save you some headaches in the future.
It’s also good to bounce your ideas off someone to maybe get some helpful feedback, but choose people who support you or people who are knowledgeable in the field. They can give you a real idea of how to be more efficient and save time during your juice cleanse or just juicing.
If you really want to get a grip on this whole juice cleansing thing, and would like a shopping list and menu all set up for you we’d recommend that you pick up a copy of our Juice Cleansing eBook!
Tip #4 Shop for your groceries in advance
Shopping for produce everyday is a pain in the butt and inefficient. On top of that, you’re exposing yourself to the smell of cooked food and that will not help your juicing journey go smoothly. Shop for 3-5 days so your produce is fresh and you don’t torture yourself with the smell of pizza! Also, if you wash all of your produce when you get home then it’s ready to use when you start juicing.
Tip #5 Ask for help from a spouse, family member, or friend
Everyone needs help sometimes. If you’re running errands or taking care of the kids ask your spouse, family member, or friend to make some of your juice. This way when you get home you won’t be starving to death.
It will save you a lot of time and headache! You’re also working as a team to accomplish the same goal. What’s that? Sanity of course! Afterwards thank them profusely for taking the time to make your juice! 🙂
