Recipe #1.

Mini Celery delight   minicelerydelightjuicerecipe

Simple recipe.

3 stalks Celery
3 medium sized Carrots
1 small-medium head Broccoli
1 small knuckle Ginger

If you want something more precise.

(2 cups chopped) Celery= 4 ounces juice
(2 cups chopped) Carrots= about 4 ounces juice
(2 cups chopped) Broccoli= 2 ounces juice
(about 1 inch and 1/2) Ginger= under an ounce of juice.

Yields about 10-11 ounces of juice.

You can skin the ginger if you like, although I always leave the skin on myself. I found this celery juice cleanse recipe to be
just about right, but if you want it to be a bit sweeter, then a few more carrots can always be added.

Recipe #2.

The Mini Green Happiness   Minigreenhappiness

Simple recipe.

5 stalks Celery
1 medium head Broccoli
1/2 Large cucumber
1 small knuckle Ginger

If you want something more precise.

(2 and 1/2 cups chopped) Celery= 5 ounces juice
(2 and 1/2 cups chopped) Broccoli = 2 and 1/2 ounces
(1 and 1/2 cups chopped) Cucumber= 4 ounces juice
(1/2 to 1 inch) Ginger= under an ounce of juice.

Yields about 11 and 1/2 to 12 ounces of juice.

This tastes just right! Another one of many great celery juice cleanse recipes! That small touch of ginger adds just enough flavor to make it even better. It is not sweet at all, but there is no pungent Broccoli taste either. The celery and cucumber really help to add body while neutralizing the Broccoli. I feel really good after drinking this! smiley

This celery juice cleanse recipe is simple and can be made quickly. The taste to me is lightly sweet. You can taste the celery coming through some, as it blends in perfectly with the other juices. This juice recipe gives you a nice quick boost of energy and all of the good stuff these juices provide your body with.

Yields about 18 and 1/2 ounces of juice.

This celery juice cleanse recipe makes a juice that tastes just great. There is a spice to it that is hard to describe, but really makes it taste unique. It is sweet, but not too sweet. These flavors really work well together in my opinion.

Recipe #5.

The Calm Celery

Simple recipe.

5 stalks Celery
2 stalks and greens from Beets (Stalks and Leaves only)

(2 and 1/2 cups chopped) Romaine Lettuce= 5 ounces juice
(2 and 1/2 cups chopped) Apple= 7 ounces juice

There is a touch of sweet in this celery juice cleanse recipe, but it is not the main flavor. The apple in this juice really does help to level it out perfectly though. There is a lot of good stuff in this juice and you can't go wrong drinking it at any time.

For the Beet Greens, include only the stalk and the leaves. No actual beets are used in this recipe.

Recipe #6.

The Celery Cilantro Green

7 stalks Celery
1/2 bunch Kale

(2 cups chopped) Cucumber= 8 ounces juice
(1 cup chopped) Cilantro= 1 ounces juice
(5 cups chopped) Apple= 14 ounces juice

Yields 38 ounces of juice.

You can taste a hint of cilantro underneath the other juices in this celery juice recipe. This juice is sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet. This may not be for everybody as some of these juices are stronger in flavor. Whether you like it or not might depend on how much you like cilantro juice. I like this juice as a way of getting some cilantro juice into my body, as well as some other greens.

The kale we used in this one was Lacinato Kale, which is also known as Dinosaur Kale or Italian Kale. Even though we used this type of kale for this celery juice recipe, you can use whatever type of kale you like and it will work just fine.

Good tasting celery juice cleanse recipe that is lightly sweet and has a mild spice of celery in the background. I am one of not many people I know who can drink celery juice straight! I just love the stuff! On top of these celery juice recipes I have found that I really like it with carrot juice. Good to hear from another celery juice lover and I hope you enjoy our recipes!

      Hello Alissa,

If you are talking about the kinds of juices you want to drink during a juice cleanse, then you can mix them up in whatever way you like, as long as the majority of your juice is green juice. You can definitely use a variety of juice recipes and in fact it is a good idea to get a variety of fruit and vegetables into your juices during a juice cleanse. It is also okay to keep your juices simple if you are not a fan of certain fruits or vegetables.

My husband is 44 and has uncontrolled high blood pressure. He hates the taste of celery so do you have a recipe that can fool him and benefit him? Thank you!

    • Liisa Wilson says

      Hi Desiree,

I am sorry to hear about your high blood pressure. I hope that the both of you will be able to lower it! I can relate with the celery flavor issue, it is not my favorite either! What I did was start off with less celery in the juices, and then added more as time went on.. It also helps to picture the celery juice helping you while you drink it. That may be motivation. You can play around with flavors that help mask or calm down the flavor of the celery… I found one recipe that may be a good starter.
