Day 14 of the 30 Days To Green Juicing Challenge has arrived! Today we are going to be using the other half of the pineapple that you juiced yesterday, and today will also be the first time that you try kale out in a juice recipe!
Kale is a very popular juicing ingredient, because it is one of the most nutrient dense vegetables on earth! The juice recipe you’re going to drink today will only use 2 leaves of kale so you can just get a taste of this powerful leafy green.
Next to the recipe for today you’ll see a picture. That picture shows 2 leaves of a certain variety of kale. That variety is called Lacinato Kale, which is otherwise known as Dino Kale. You do not have to use that variety in your juice, but can use any kind of kale that your local store carries. It is very likely your store will carry a variety of curly kale. Below is an image that has curly kale on the left and “Dino kale” on the right.
