Storing Your Juice Properly Is Crucial!
Sometimes when you make juice you can’t drink it all in the moment, or you make a whole lot at once (to drink later) to save time. Drinking your juice right after you make it is the best way to get as many of the nutrients it contains into your body.
This is because as juice sits, it slowly will lose it’s nutritional value. Factors like oxidation, light, and heat can really put the drain on the goodies inside of your juice. If you let it sit out too long or you store it improperly, before you know it, all you have is a bottle full of sugar.
If it’s straight green juice you won’t have all of the sugar, but you’ll still be left with a bottle full of water lacking the nutrition that was once inside.
The reality of the situation is we all don’t have the time to make each juice as we drink it, and sometimes if we’re really going to keep up with our juicing habit we’re going to have to make some now to drink later!
The fact remains that you don’t want to store your juice in just any way. You want to store it so it retains all the nutrients and life giving healing properties inside! This article right here will fill you in on everything you need to know about storing your juice properly!
When you’re done reading that be sure to come right back because we’ve got one more nutrient saving juicing tip for you today!
Should I Peel My Vegetables Or Fruit?
We’ll tell you right from the start that we always include the rind of the watermelon in our watermelon juice! In fact, we include the peel and rinds of many vegetables and fruit inside of our juices. Why do we do this?
The Peel In Many Vegetables and Fruit Contains A Load Of Its Overall Nutrients!
Not only is this true, but it’s just easier to leave them on and juice the peel and all! There are some peels we don’t include very often in our juicing. A couple of these are orange peels and pineapple peels (skin).
We wrote an article that covers a lot more about peeling, or not peeling your vegetables and fruit. It talks about the flavors of some peels, some of the toxins that can be found in certain kinds of peels, how some peels are just difficult to juice, and about some of the nutrition inside.
After you’re finished with that one, lets get to enjoying you’re watermelon juice!
Your Juice Recipe For Day 4

What About Some Of The Goodies Inside Of Watermelon Juice?
- First of all, watermelon makes a great juice that is lower in sugar than most other fruit juices.
- Contains lycopene, which among many other health benefits protects your cardiovascular system from free radical damage, lowers your risk of heart disease, can protect your skin from UV damage, and protects agains many types of cancer.
- The citrulline inside of watermelon can help to improve blood flow as well as relax your blood vessels. On top of aiding with stress and increasing your energy citrulline has also been said to have a viagra like effect when consumed in larger amounts. Citrulline is more concentrated in the rind of the watermelon, which is just another reason to include it in your watermelon juice!
Enjoy your juice, and we’ll see you tomorrow!
