Day 6 of the juicing challenge is here! Tomorrow will be the first day we add a green ingredient to our juice, but for today we are going to be drinking carrot juice! This root vegetable produces such a tasty and sweet juice that works out so well in many juicing recipes!
Your recipe for today can be found near the bottom of the page, but before you drink down your sweet carrot juice we wanted to share a very important tip with you! You might already have become aware of this now that you are some days into your juicing challenge.
Keeping A Clean Space For Your Juicing Can Go A Long Way!
I know we brought this up on day one of this juicing challenge, and it seems like such an obvious and simple tip, but we really wanted to bring this up again. It took us both some time before we fully realized the importance of this! Keeping a clean space set aside for your juicing may seem like a smaller and less important juicing tip to pay attention to, but believe us it can be the difference between you making a juice some days or skipping your juice altogether.
This speaks to building a healthy habit and staying on track with your juicing, exactly like you’re doing now! Sometimes all it takes is a few consecutive days of skipping your healthy routine, and next thing you know you find yourself really dragging your feet when it comes time to get back to it. If you haven’t already you can read more here about why keeping a clean space set aside for your juicing is so important!
Your Juice Recipe For Day 6
Carrot Juice, Sweet Carrot Juice!
15 Carrots (any size, but preferably medium to larger carrots)
We can’t really estimate the ounces of juice you will have today, because the size of carrots vary a whole lot! Whatever you get out of your juicer, enjoy!
Some Of The Health Benefits Of Drinking Carrot Juice
- Carrot Juice contains a high amount of vitamin A in the form of Beta-carotene. Vitamin A is not only good for skin health, but also helps to protect the eyes from macular degeneration.
- It is widely held that carrot juice is a good detoxifier of the liver.
- Has anti-inflammation properties which can help to ease rhuematism, arthritis and other issues related to inflammation.
