Today on day 9 of your juicing challenge we wanted to start warming you up to ginger juice, and we do mean warm you up. If you’ve found this page and are not taking part of our FREE 30 day juicing challenge you should most definitely check it out.
Ginger juice can sometimes fill you with a nice warming feeling inside after you drink it. Part of it is due to ginger’s thermogenic properties, which also increase metabolism and help to burn fat.
Below are some of the other health benefits of ginger.
- Studies have suggested that ginger can help to reduce hunger.
- Ginger contains powerful anti-inflammatory properties.
- Ginger can improve the assimilation and absorption of nutrients in our body.
- Ginger prevents viral infections and warms your body during the colder seasons.
Trying New Juices Opens Us Up To New Possibilities
When you first began this juicing challenge you either had never juiced much at all, had juiced some but needed something to keep you on track, or had been juicing but wanted to work yourself up to drinking more nutrient dense green juices.
By now you’ve tried quite a few different juices, and have very likely tried something for the first time along the way. You may even have found that you like a certain juice that you never thought you would.
Many of the juicing combinations we come up with have been inspired by first trying something new. If you never give something a try, how can you really know whether you will like it or not?
You don’t have to juice a huge variety of vegetables and fruit on a daily basis to receive a lot of the benefits that come with juicing, but it doesn’t hurt to include more ingredients into your juices over time.
While you don’t have to use loads of different ingredients in your juices, it’s not a bad idea to work in something different from time to time. In the spirit of trying new things, below is your juice recipe for the day!
If you’ve tried ginger in juice before, that’s alright, enjoy it again! If you’ve never tried ginger before, you might want to go easy and include just a little at a time into your juice. Too much all at once can have a strong taste, but just the right amount can really make for a great juice! We personally love the spicy flavor and warming feeling ginger can add to a juice.
