Sweet Potato Juice Cleanse Recipes

Recipe #1.   Sweet Quartet Sweet Potato Juice Cleanse Recipe

Sweet Quartet

Simple recipe.

1 Sweet Potato
5 leaves Kale
2 Apples
1/2 Lemon (peeled)

If you want something more precise.

(2 and 1/2 cups chopped) Sweet Potato = 5 ounces juice
(1 and 1/2 cups chopped) Kale = 2 and 1/2 ounces juice
(5 and 3/4 cups chopped) Apple = 16 ounces juice
(1/4 cup sliced) Lemon = 1 ounce juice

This sweet potato juice cleanse recipe tastes like a sweet apple juice. The lemon sits in the background and adds to the flavor in a subtle way. We included the peel in the image because it looks nice, but we did not include it inside of this juice recipe. :) You can include the peel if you want, but it will make this a more bitter flavored juice.

We always do Nancy! :) Some people might peel theirs if they’re juicing sweet potatoes that weren’t grown using organic methods, but we figure the nutrients inside of the peel far outweigh the downsides of juicing them. If you’re using organic sweet potatoes then the answer is an easy yes, and we always recommend using organic, though we do know that not everyone has organic options available to them.
